Arlington National Cemetery

This was the home that Robert E. Lee and his family built and lived in. The land for Arlington was donated by them.
The eternal flame.
Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Arlington Amphitheater where some of the funerals are conducted.
Some of the tombstones in the earlier years of the gravesite had varying shapes and artistry. Later on, they decided that every tomb needed to be the same size to allow for more burial space. It was very humbling, and a little emotional, to be told that upwards of 25 funerals are performed daily at Arlington. That was hard to swallow.
