SB: Day 3...Ripley's Aquarium

After their hike, Jason came back to the cabin to pick me and Ella up so that we could go to lunch. The rain really started coming down after lunch and the kids didn't want to hang out at the cabin all afternoon, so Jason and Ella returned to the cabin for a nap. I took Cole and Kelsey to the Ripley's Aquarium and they had a great time. We saw sharks, tons of tropical and strange fish, several species of stingray and even a dive/feeding show with the rays. There was an area dedicated to deadly creatures of the ocean which included very strange looking fish and jellyfish. For the first time ever we saw spider crabs. They were huge and creepy looking. There was also a hands on area where the kids could touch and pick up horseshoe crabs and pet the stingray.

If you look closely, you can see the diver off to the right in a blue and green dive suit. This was taken after the feeding show with the rays.

These next two pictures were taken in the play area near the hand-on exhibits.
