We went to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for Spring Break this year. It's been about 3 or 4 years since we last went. It rained for the first 3 days of our trip, so we had to try to find indoor activities to entertain the kids for awhile. We decided to try Wonderworks since my sister and her family had such a good time there. We enjoyed it! It was a lot like our McWane Science Center that we have here in Birmingham, but with different hands-on activities than the kids are used to. Jason and the two older kids decided to do the rock climbing. This was Jason's and Kelsey's first time at it. They did really well. Cole made it to the top twice...thus ringing the bell twice. He was rather proud of himself. Kelsey never could quite make it more than 1/3 of the way. I think the higher you go, the further the steps/handles are. She's probably a little too small, yet. Jason almost made it to the top until he looked down and lost his footing. They had a great time, though. It was fun to watch. I'm not that brave.
