Jason has never taken Kelsey camping without big brother tagging along, so this time it was just the two of them. Seemed only fair since Cole and Jason have been doing so much with scouts and Kelsey's been feeling a little left out. They went to Tannehill state park even though the threat of severe weather loomed in the air. They had a great time and then were chased home the next morning by a "derecho" storm. Basically, the I understand this type of storm to be a major wind producer as well as sideways tornados. Quite an interesting little getaway.

They even have a nice little playground at the campsite. Very family friendly.
