We were pretty pumped at the news this morning. He went for a checkup and they told him it was time to move to the next level. He would've screamed with delight had we been outside. Instead, he settled for a little jump and happy dance. He was fitted for a retainer which we returned to pick up this afternoon. He will have to wear it at night only. What freedom he now has. Dr. Boggan, his orthodontist, even gifted him with a bag of candy...taffy, gum, jawbreakers, etc...everything he couldn't have with braces on. We're going to try to talk Daddy into taking us all out for a celebratory dinner tonight.
